Getting There

Please note that the garden at Gipsy House is on a residential street and not normally open to the general public.

By train: Great Missenden station is on the Chiltern Railway line from London Marylebone.

By car: There is a pay and display car park off the Link Road, a short walk away. Visitors for Sunday 12th September have also been given kind permission by Chiltern Railways to use the car park at Great Missenden station. Please park only in designated parking spaces in the village.

From both the train station and the car park, walk south along the High Street, past the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Cente on your left (or you could call in to take part in the Roald Dahl Day fun there too - more information at the museum's website). Whitefield Lane is the first street on the right after the High Street from where Gipsy House will be signposted.

Fantastic Mr Fox at Holland Park Opera

The new production of Fantastic Mr Fox at Opera Holland Park has been delighting audiences and receiving fantastic (!) reviews.

"The music is highly accessible to children, without ever feeling patronising towards them. For this reason it seems perfectly suited to giving youngsters their first taste of an operatic experience, while adults should also find much within the notes to take an interest in."

"Staged in the woodland behind the theatre, with a half-dozen pianos dotted around the lawn, Stephen Barlow's charming production of Fantastic Mr Fox is an excellent introduction to opera for the children and grandchildren of Holland Park's audience."
